Goshen Water & Sewer has an easy way to make your monthly Water & Sewer payments!
Sign up for our "Easy-Pay" program! With Easy-Pay, we automatically deduct your monthly payments from your checking or savings account. To receive an application, call 533-9399 or ask for one when you visit our office. There is no charge for this service.


24-hour Payment Drop Box

For your convenience a Water Department 24-hour payment drop box is available just south of the new location at 203 South 5th Street (next to the mail boxes).

Payments in the box before 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday will be posted the same day.

In addition to preparing monthly Water and Sewer bills, this office processes payments and registers new customers for water service .

Customers also can sign-up for Easy-Pay. By registering for Easy-Pay, you authorize the Utility office to transfer funds from your bank account to be applied to your monthly Water and Sewer bill. The tranfer occurs at the same time each month.

The City of Goshen has two Water treatment facilities. One facility is located on the north side of the City and the the other facility is located on the south side of the City.

Both facilities obtain their water from deep ground wells. The average daily pumpage is approximately 4 million gallons per day. The facilities remove both the iron and manganese that is present in the pumped water. Fluoride is also added to the pumped water for healthy teeth.

The City of Goshen has only one Wastewater Treatment Plant. It is designed to handle 5 million gallons of sewage per day, with a peak first flush of 12.5 million gallons. The wastewater treatment plant treats on an average of 4 million gallons of sewage per day.

The facility is a typical waste activated sludge plant that provides both primary and secondary treatment. The collection system consists of both combined and sanitary sewer systems.
