Programs
Group Programs
Interpretive displays, presentation, and programs create opportunities for learning experiences. Group programs are offered for children, families, adults and seniors. All age groups and school levels are invited. Community program topics include, but are not limited to, these listed below.
The Seasons, Food Chains, Night and Day, Recycling, Nature Hikes, Bird Walks, Conservation / Preservation, Geology, Regional History, Leed Building, Environmental Responsibility, Green Home and Business, Sustainability, Sounds of the Environment.
Other Programs offered include:
Bats, birds, bugs, insects, spiders, butterflies, camping, mammals, ponds, tracks, trees, wetlands, wildflowers, rocks, and minerals. Each program follows appropriate Indiana science, history, and geography standards. Be assured of a time slot for your field trip to the Rieth Interpretive Center. We also offer a variety of programs that allow scouts to achieve outdoor and environmental badges while enjoying the Rieth Interpretive Center, The Larry L. Beachy Classified Forest, Millrace Canal, Wetlands, Trails, etc.
